Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking

So I was watching Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking. He's an interesting man with an interesting mind, and believes all that big bang stuff which doesn't quite make much sense since in that theory something had to be here already to create the big bang...and so it doesn't effectively describe how everything came into existence BUT he did hit on some high points when talking about traveling to other planets and blackholes. I found this one fact quite interesting: if an object was traveling at say somewhere around 385 billion miles per hour would take around 73-75 years to reach the closest solar system...that's a long way. He also mentioned all galaxies are rotating around black holes or something to that effect and it was interesting because to think that(similar to we arent living but slowly dieing) we are slowly getting closer to a black hole and that could be a possible end of everything is an interesting thought though I do not believe that will be how the world ends seeing as I am a chrisitan and do in fact believe we will be raptured as those that aren't saved stay on the earth as it ends in a blazing fire. Anyways, just thought I'd share that with you. I am about to post a sequel to this about time travel so look out for that.
